'Once upon a time in Mumbai' is one of the very few movies of 2010 which saw success at box office. When big movies of Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar sank on box office, Ajay devghan's intense performance has once again proved his Caliber at Box office.
'Once upon a time in Mumbai' is directed by Milan Luthria who has worked with Ajay Devghan in past and surely knows how to get the best performance of Ajay Devghan and use his talent.
Once upon a time in Mumbai's story is set on 1970s Gang culture of mumbai city where Sultaan Mirza (Ajay Devghan) was feared and respected by everyone involved in crime and smuggling.
Mirza was known for following the so called "good ethics" in the bad business of crime and was respected as a man of his word.
Kangana Ranavat has played the main female lead against Ajay Devghan and has given very good performance in the role of a Bollywood heroin of 1970s (Her character in this movie is inspired by Parveen Bobby).
A parallel Love story of Emraan Hashmi and Prachi desai is shown in the movie to include some cheap sexual sequences, mainly to get some whistles from the front seat crowd. Even cheaper club song is shot with Hashmi for the same purpose.
Music of Once upon a time in Mumbai was a huge success. Two songs 'Tum Jo aaye' and 'Pee loon" became very popular...
