Kangana Ranavat has played the main female lead against Ajay Devghan and has given very good performance in the role of a Bollywood heroin of 1970s (Her character in this movie is inspired by Parveen Bobby).
A parallel Love story of Emraan Hashmi and Prachi desai is shown in the movie to include some cheap sexual sequences, mainly to get some whistles from the front seat crowd. Even cheaper club song is shot with Hashmi for the same purpose.
