Desi Boyz Box OfficeThe year 2010 was not very good for Akshay Kumar as his two major films Action Reply and Tees Maar Khan didn't get much success at the box Office. Akshay has already got one film released in 2011 titled Patiala House where his preformance got rave reviews from most of the critics. Akshay Kumar's another major upcoming release of 2011 is going to be "Desi Boyz" where he is paired against Deepika Padukone. Other starcast of the film include John Abraham and Amitabh Bachchan. Desi Boyz is expected to hit the screens in November 2011 which is more than six month after his other 2011 release "Thank You" which is up for April-May release. This Gap of 6 or more month is sometimes maintained for a Big Star at any point of his career. Producers of two different films featuring their common lead actor talk this over and make some arrangement and adjustments for their films' release dates. Not Having proper Gap and back to back releases is one of the reasons for failure of some of the recent films of actor Akshay Kumar. 6 or more month Gap is fair enough for Akshay and it will be maximum Gap between two Akshay movies since the start of his career.
