Director Sagar Ballary had hit the jackpot in 2007 with his successful film Bheja Fry. Bheja Fry movie was a box office earner because of it's satire like comedy and different storyline from other regular movies. It earned good profits also due to the fact that production cost of this movie was not very high.

Bheja Fry was all about how Ranjeet Thadani (Rajat Kapoor), a bored, arrogant music company executive, has fun at the cost of some simple people. But his meeting with an idiot, Bharat Bhushan (Vinay Pathak), doesn't go the way he wanted it because of his bad back. The result is utter chaos let loose by the idiot, who cannot do a single thing without messing it up.

Bheja Fry's sequel is currently in the making. Bheja Fry's sequel is titled Bheja Fry 2 and it's main starcast includes Minisha Lamba, K. K. Menon and Vinay Pathak.

Minisha Lamba has been signed by the director for an important role in Bheja fry 2. It also stars K. K. Menon and Vinay Pathak in the lead roles.

Story / Sequences in Bheja Fry -2 will be reportedly based in Abroad where the lead 'idiot' character will continue his activities.

Bheja Fry 2 is expected to hit the screens in April 2011.
